While I hate further government regulation in any industry, especially Freight / Trucking, I certainly witness drivers talking on cell phones on a daily basis. I am very courteous to drivers, letting them merge lanes on the highway, etc., but do need to tell them to get off the phone while hauling freight loads. So drivers... govern yourselves as the professionals you are. If you can do this in this arena and others, you may curb the need for additional governmental intervention in the future.
