- / N2N / – President Barack Obama has a plan to help more small businesses go global. The White House has a goal of doubling U.S. exports over five years and is seeking to boost funds for the Federal Export-Import Bank to lend small-to-medium sized businesses to help them sell more abroad.
It is hoped a number of new federal initiatives will boost small firm exporting by 40% over present levels! Currently, less than one percent of all small businesses engage in exporting.
